CBSE has recently revised the syllabus of Informatics Practices for Senior Secondary
classes, connecting it to the latest trends with emphasis on use of Open Source Software for
2011 Board examination.
As informed earlier, CBSE has also revised the syllabus of Engineering Graphics for
Senior Secondary classes for 2011 Board examination.
Since no textbooks were available in these subjects till date, CBSE has developed the
textbooks for classes XI and XII in both the subjects. The textbooks of class XI for ‘Engineering
Graphics’ and ‘Informatics Practices’ is already available in CBSE stores. The textbooks of
class XII for both the subjects will be made available soon.
You are also informed that the Sample Question Papers of Mathematics, Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering Graphics, Home Science, Computer Science,
Informatics Practices, Multimedia and Web Technology and Agriculture are available on CBSE
website www.cbse.nic.in and also in CBSE stores in print form.
